Science Maths Careers
Math/Science careers?
Hey guys. I’m looking for a math and science career (probably something to do with physics) that will directly contribute to helping society and people. Any ideas? thanks!
I’ve got my math and physics degrees, with no success in finding a decent job. I’ve been hunting for work for 3 years. My PhD is worthless as far as jobs go.
However, a math or physics degree is a great companion to an engineering, biology, or computer science degree.
My reccomendation would be to do your main degree in one of those applid fields, with a minor or dual degree in math or physics (or both).
Biology is hot right now, and if you have a math and biology degree, you’ll easily get a job. Computer science is still pretty strong, but jobs have been on a steady decline, and the competition has become more fierce for those jobs.
Hope that helps.
