Mathematics Graduate Fellowships
European Graduate Schools in Mathematics?
I’m now a 4th year student at the department of mathematics in a known Turkish university and i want to apply for a M.S/ Ph.D in Math in a European University. Having a scholarship or an assistantship is crucial in my study plan. I really want to study in England but i know that life is very expensive there and getting fellowships etc. is tough indeed. Provided that my GPA is about 3.40, my Toefl IBT score is over 100 and i have an indermediate level of German and Spanish, what are your recommendations(country & university) for me ? I have been thinking of Germany or Sweden actually.
Okay, then did your friends get any kind of financial aid(teaching assistantships or scholarships) during their studies in Germany?
Germany has excellent math programs. I have friends that studied math at Göttingen, München, Frei Universität Berlin, and other schools there and were very happy with the academic quality.
