What careers are out there with Math and Business degrees?
I will be graduating soon with a double major in General Business and Mathematics and a minor in Applied Statistics and am curious about possible job opportunities in the Denver area. I know of the obvious choices such as Actuary and Statistician, but am curious as to other career fields I may want to look into. I love math, but am not sure if I want to fill every day doing it. Any ideas on other fields to explore, and also does this combination of degrees make me a desirable employee in the business world? Thanks in advance for your help!!!
You have a good combo, but you didn’t mention any computer classes. Computer programming would be a good addition and make you more marketable. I’ve found people that like math like programming – because it’s logical.
Lots of technical finance careers want math type people.
